Playing around with new lighting and camera lens

As the unforgiving winds of winter color the days of grey skies and as i was getting ready for my usual hour of reading, writing or creating in general, whichever comes first, in my favorite coffee shop @Bobos_cafe. By chance or destiny i caught a glimpse in marvel and awe of this amazing homage by @art_tillman based on the original work by the lovely and incredible @camillesantiagoart representation of el rizo y el castaño, my first book (which by now, im sure you know). that representation seamlessly came to be the cover of my book first edition, i still remember when i spoke to camille about it, it only took three statements about the book for her to conjure this amazingly assertive image of what el rizo y el castaño was all about. the universe which resides within their hair, their eyes and the image’s palpable emotion. all, was capture perfectly, almost like there was no possible version of it, of what el rizo y el castaño’s cover should’ve been. thank you @camillesantiagoart @art_tillman and @ecruz_designer for also putting together the lettering in a way that didn’t interfere with such a perfect scene, that understanding of the complexity of different artistic expression coming together, makes a great designer. lastly but certainly not least thanks to @miomanantialmio for being that spark when i didn’t even know what i was, your magic made the vision through it all. it’s soon to be the culmination of my second year in this new journey and looking back at my how much was accomplished, nothing but grateful. a very special mention to erica, armando, carmen and efrain for their unwavering support and love throughout the whole process of my ever complex life. to the rest of my loving, amazing and stunningly cool family @ladynnel @gentlemens_motorcycle-club_co and certainly the muses who give wings to my poetry and life. a lot more to mention, you guys can feel who you are, love you all.
